Qatar is a country that combines uniqueness and modernity, located on the seaside and in the heart of the city, where people from all over the world meet. With an area of 11,571 square kilometers (smaller than the entire Tashkent region), the capital of this Arab state, Doha, is situated on a peninsula surrounded by the waters of the Persian Gulf. Easybooking company, a correspondent for "Gazeta.uz," returned from an information tour to Doha organized for employees of OAV. They traveled from Tashkent to Doha on a direct flight with Centrum Air. In her material, "Gazeta.uz" correspondent Mushtariy Okboeva shares her impressions of the uniqueness of the capital of Qatar, its rules, and some useful tips. According to CEIC Data, in December 2015, Qatar welcomed a record number of tourists - 2,929,630 people. Due to the coronavirus, this number decreased to 581,659 people in 2020. In 2022, Qatar was able to restore its previous pre-pandemic levels, attracting millions of tourists. Compared to Uzbekistan, Qatar is much smaller - only 40 times smaller. The inland part of the country is covered with sand dunes, while the urban area, like Dubai, can be called an "urban oasis." At the same time, Qatar is attractive not only for its modern skyscrapers but also for its nature.
